Web Success Portal Helped Us Level Up Our Social Media Strategy

November 15, 2022 Laura

Making the most of social media channels to grow brand awareness and gather more leads and potential customers requires having a social media strategy. If you are already implementing some strategies and have yet to see the desired results, it’s high time you revamp and level up on those ideas.

But before you begin, you must first make sure that you are crystal clear about your goals and the path you will take to achieve them. In this interview, an expert from Web Success Portal shared some advice on how to do this efficiently.

What goals should be considered when creating a social media strategy?

Without first establishing both short and long-term goals in the social media strategy you intend to use, the initiatives may not be successful. Some goals to consider include building brand awareness, bringing in new clients or leads, communicating with or helping current clients more skillfully, boosting client loyalty, producing sales, or closing transactions.

After the goals have been decided upon, they should be made clear to everyone on the team, and all efforts should be focused on achieving them.

Which social media platforms should be used to implement the strategy?

The type of social media network you utilize will depend on your target audience. It’s crucial to think about things like demographics, behaviors, and preferences on sites like Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and TikTok to determine if the users align with your objectives.

Additionally, you can spend some time observing the social media presence of competitors, influencers, and suppliers in your industry to determine where they spend the most money and where their fan bases are the largest. This will allow for more informed decision-making.

What metrics should be monitored to gauge the social media strategy’s success?

There are a few measures you should track after putting your social media strategy into action to judge its effectiveness. Firstly, check to see if your reach and quantity of impressions have increased due to the social media strategy.

The quantity of interactions (likes, comments, shares, and clicks) has to be tracked over time as well. Beyond those mentioned above, the most important metrics for assessing the strategy’s efficiency are the number of referrals and conversions you receive.

What tools can be used to track these metrics?

One of the best tools is HubSpot, which offers an excellent all-in-one solution to guide you through putting your social media plan into practice and monitoring and tracking the entire process. Google Analytics is also highly recommended by professionals in the social media sector.

If you only have a small budget, you can use Google analytics over HubSpot because it includes a free edition. Other tools you can consider are Hootsuite, Mixpanel, Megalytic, Salesforce, and Basecamp

What services does Web Success Portal provide to assist businesses in putting their social media strategies into practice?

At Web Success Portal, we offer digital marketing services to help businesses choose social media strategy objectives consistent with their brand image. We also help with putting the concepts into practice across the selected platforms.

Once this is finished, brands can retain our services for an additional charge to assist them in managing their social media campaigns and content creation on an ongoing basis.
