5 Gifts for the Cancer in Your Life

The end of July brings Cancer season to a close, but that doesn’t mean it’s too late to spoil the heck out of the special Cancer in your life! Just like the crab that represents their sign, Cancers feel best in a home that reflects who they are while making their loved ones feel comfortable. Giving them something that reflects or compliments this lifestyle will show that you’ve put thought and care into the perfect gift.

If you’re still on the lookout for that perfect gift for your favorite Cancer, we’ve put together a quick list of ideas that will suit their cozy lifestyle!

1. Help Them Relax With Calming CBD

Being ruled by the Moon, Cancers are motivated by comfort and self-care, especially if this involves spending time in the sanctuary of their own home. If your Cancerian loved one would rather enjoy a relaxing night in, instead of a fun night out, consider giving the gift of CBD products!

Cancers are sensitive and emotional water signs, and smoking at THC strain with too high of a THC concentration can actually make them feel more anxious, rather than relaxing them. But CBD companies like Plain Jane make high-quality CBD products, joints, and prerolls using high-quality CBD flower, ensuring that customers feel the relaxation they are looking for without the potential negative side effects of THC.

And if your loved one isn’t quite ready to dive into the world of ingestible CBD, there are a number of CBD skincare products that offer the benefits of CBD without the need to smoke or consume edibles.

2. Get Them Something Shiny

Cancers tend to dress with their mood, which means that their fashion sense can vary daily. Show them you care with a simple, yet elegant, pendant—and opt for something featuring lab grown diamonds to please their environmentalist side.

Lab diamonds are identical to natural diamonds with the naked eye, but they are grown in an ethical, controlled environment, rather than mined from the earth. There are some controversial practices within the diamond industry, but diamond-lovers don’t have to sacrifice their appreciation for the gem if they shop in conscientious ways.

3. Add to Their Home Decor

Since Cancers love their homes and take pride in making their home as comfortable as possible for everyone, they love having new home décor. Give that homebody something that will make them feel at peace while they’re chilling at home, whether it’s a cute set of coasters or a throw blanket that screams their name. If they’re low on space or trying to keep their decor minimal, consider floating corner shelves or a scented candle, adding a dash of comfort without taking up too much space.

4. Tap Into Their Intuitive Side

Whether your Cancerian friend is a well-seasoned card reader, or they’ve only mentioned being interested in getting started, the rise in metaphysical interest over the past few years means that there is an abundance of decks to choose from! Cancers are known for being able to read a room rather quickly, giving them a deeper understanding of the people around them. Combining their intuitive nature with the art of reading cards can awaken a new passion and a heightened sense of comfort about the world around them.

Find a deck that you think best suits them, or offer to have them look through decks online and pay for the one that speaks to them most.

5. Make Them Something

Most Cancers surround themselves with things that hold sentimental value, and a handmade gift from the heart is one of the best things they can receive. Create a scrapbook of your fondest memories or craft a handmade card to show that they mean enough for you to put the time and effort into a personalized gift. If you’re feeling extra fancy, consider making homemade bath salts with essential oils, a scented candle, or even some decadent cupcakes. Even if your DIY gift isn’t perfect, something hand made will still be treasured by your Cancerian friend.

When it comes to buying a gift for the Cancer in your life, less is often more. Whether you spend hours making the perfect gift or buy them something to make their home feel homier, the effort and thought that you put into their gift will be what is truly important to them.
