7 Ways To Kickstart Your Day The Right Way

October 13, 2021 Laura

The manner in which we begin our day may have a significant impact on how the rest of the day plays out. We need to take the early part of the day to set up success for the rest of the day, whether we’re focused on making that first hour of the day the one that sets the tone or using mornings to build a great day. Express Pharmacy Online‘s experts have tried and tested methods for getting my day started, here they are.

Wake Up Early

Before you head to work, give yourself enough time. This will allow you to feel more in command of your time and less rushed. Personally, I adore sleeping, so I’m not suggesting you have to get up early if that’s not your thing; nevertheless, getting up ahead of schedule or before you begin your day makes a significant impact. I used to sleep till the last possible moment, but I’d always have a sense of being dragged out of bed and racing into my day. Allow yourself more time and begin your day in a calm and pleasant manner.

Exercise

Exercising is an excellent approach to start your day. Again, pick what works best for you; don’t try to jog ten miles or compete in a triathlon! Each morning, I go for a half hour walk in the fresh air, which is essential especially during the winter when we spend more time indoors. That 15-minute walk before going to work really puts me in the mood for the rest of my day. If it’s raining heavily, I do 15 minutes of yoga at home using a DVD. Even if you have no energy, some form of exercise will get you off on the right foot. Find out what you enjoy and what works with your schedule. It doesn’t have to be all or nothing; start simple and work your way up.

Meditate

Meditation is a simple and effective approach to begin your day. If you’ve never meditated before, spend five to ten minutes every day sitting quietly. Some people keep their eyes open. I like closing my eyes to shut out distractions, but find what works best for you. You may look at the flicker of a candle or focus on your breathing. I discovered that having a CD with guided meditations for this helped, but you may also find other meditation videos for free on the internet. While drinking a cup of tea or coffee once you’ve woken up may not seem like much, it might make a significant difference to your day. It’s incredible how much better things are after only ten minutes disconnected from the outside world every day.

Have a Good Breakfast

A hearty breakfast is a wonderful way to begin your day. Breakfast is widely recognized as the most important meal of the day, and for good reason; it provides us with vital vitamins and minerals while also providing us with essential energy to get through the day. I generally have a smoothie or porridge when I’m feeling peckish around mid-morning, and both provide a slow release of energy. Experiment with what you like and works best for you.
