Call to Action Phrases that Work in Marketing

A call to action or CTA is a thing that appears in ads that encourage people to buy. You want to use effective calls to action since it is not enough for people to only see the ads or read the blogs. They need to do something once they finish looking at the ad or blog post. You want to use marketing strategies that will make them want to buy what you offer or click a link to use a promotion code, etc. Anything that retains attention and improves engagement could be beneficial.

CTAs also create a sense of urgency. You want to make people feel that something is going on and they cannot miss out on it. If they drag their heels, they might not have the chance to get the items they want. These are some standard call to action phrases that are worth trying.

  • Only X days left. Using this phrase creates a real sense of urgency. Promotions are only valid up to a specific date, and you want to keep telling that to your target audience. You want them to avoid delaying their plans to buy, or else it will not be there anymore. However, you cannot use this phrase if you keep extending the promotion since you are only fooling those who rush to buy the products. They will also not believe you the next time you decide to use a CTA.
  • Limited supply. It is also a good phrase to use when you are telling people that the items will not be available for a long time. Once they run out, people will not have the chance to purchase anymore. It also gives the idea that those who are receiving the items have a limited item on their hands. The exclusivity is inviting for them.
  • Hurry, or Now. You cannot be any more obvious than these phrases. By using these words, you are merely telling people to act now, and not delay. You may or may not provide reasons for using such a phrase, but you are creating a sense of urgency that encourages people to purchase right away.
  • Promos are available. When people open the site to look for information on products and services offered, they can see the full description along with the price. If the price is too high, they might decide to suspend their plans to purchase something. However, if you indicate that promotions are available, some people might change their decision. You can even ask them to follow some guidelines to get an exclusive deal that you do not offer to everyone else.

You need to be smart in enticing people to buy your products. The use of appropriate calls to action will be useful in convincing them as long as you are honest about your intentions.

Apart from using calls to action in various marketing platforms, you might also consider the use of promotional merchandise such as custom printed socks. You want to give something for free so that people will feel special. You keep asking them to pay for your products and services. Giving free merchandise would be an appreciated change.
