How to Store Boots in Any Space

Imagine if shoes were vehicles, then boots would be trucks. All tough and durable, designed for thick mud and dusty rough terrain. No need to handle them like fancy sports cars – that would be those fancy sneakers and classy official shoes. When you look at boots, they appear perfectly made, already sorted to last by themselves, like they do not need proper care and maintenance.

Well, …that is all wrong. Boots need to be kept proper, cleaned necessarily, and stored for the next use. This is done to keep them in their original designed shape and to guarantee their durability. One of the boots maintenance practices is storage. To do so, you have to know shoe storage ideas. And guess what? They can be quite hard to come up with.

Here are some of the best shoe storage ideas in any space:

In the hallway

This could be right at the entrance of your house; a perfect spot would be just when you get in. You do not want to soil your sparkling floor or that fluffy carpet, who wants to clean every minute? Put a bench in the hallway, take a seat and gently remove your boots. Place them underneath in a nice arrangement fashion. This saves you the torture of standing on one leg or sitting on the floor back arched. Just like that, you have stored your boots. Now let’s move on…

On the floor

Locate a convenient floor space. Take a mat and place your boots on. This protects your floor from dirt on the boots. To keep their upright posture, fill your boots with paper towel rolls or any other staff that could serve the purpose.

In the closet

This is the commonest of all spaces to store your boots. But how? You do not just throw your boots in, do you? Place them on a mat on the floor, or you can fit in a shoe rack to insert them on. Shelves come in handy, you can arrange the boots according to their sizes.

Start with tall boots at the bottom end. Usually, the space is big enough, and short boots at the upper end. This also appeals to the eyes. Lastly, boot hangers. Place them at a high point in your closet and hang your boots on. Use them to hang any boot design, tall or short.

On the door

Finally, saving the best for the last. This is where over the door shoe hanger or shoe rack comes to play, the coolest way of all. They come in varying sizes depending on the number of pairs one can hold. Go buy one of these and fix it on your bedroom door. Do not worry about how to fix it, it will come with an instruction’s manual. You can also watch a video on YouTube if you prefer on “how to…” yes, that is right.

This is how you store boots in any space. Simple and effective styles to last that one or dozens of boots that you have.
