Investar USA – Where to Invest in Your Home Next

March 8, 2019 Laura

With the exception of a small percentage of the USA, most of us renovate and redecorate in our homes as and when we are financially able to. What this often means is that we decorate in a Golden Gate Bridge style, whereby we need to start again once we have completed the final room. Occasionally of course there are some areas of the house which require instant attention, but beyond that we have to choose which will be the best place to work on next. To help you to decide which aspect of the house you should invest in, we caught up with some of the real estate masterminds from financial lenders Investar USA, to see what they thought makes the most sense.

The Garden

If most of us are being honest with ourselves then we would say that the garden is usually the last place where we would spend our money, instead focusing on the interior. The garden however is a very important part of the house and this is why you should look to invest in giving it a makeover. The garden can add value for your property, it can make your property more attractive and beyond everything else, it will be a beautiful place for you and your family to spend some time on those sunny afternoons.

Kitchen

The kitchen is very much the engine room of almost every home and this is why it deserves all of your love and attention. A new kitchen won’t come cheap but it will add a significant amount to your property by way of value and of course in use. Kitchens are invariably where we spend most of our time in the home and this is why it is worth renovating. A new kitchen can make your home more appealing, it can add value to the property and it will also improve your enjoyment of living in the property.

Bathroom

Kitchen and bathroom should always come before the bedrooms because these are the places which are going to be used by multiple people. The main bathroom certainly merits investment and you should try and spend as much as you can on this. A bathroom is the place where we can be private, a relaxing sanctuary and the place where you should be able to switch off from the world. To get this right you will need to plan well and invest as much as you can.

Details

It may not be a room as such but investing money into repainting all of the details around the home is a very smart choice. This includes skirting rails, enclaves, doors and ceilings throughout the home. The impact of this will be huge and it will serve to really freshen up the home in fact it becomes almost a beautiful fraud because you haven’t really redecorated, yet that is the feeling that you are left with. It may be a painstaking job but once it has been completed you will really see the impact that this can have on the overall feel of the property.
