Why You Should Get Married In Berkshire

Berkshire is pretty low-key compared to London and other nearby cities. It’s mostly mountains, plains, and green things, all of which will take your breath away. Other than its natural beauty, here are other reasons why you should get married in Berkshire:

1. Berkshire is worth the drive.

Your guests will thank you for choosing Berkshire as your wedding venue because the county is a great weekend getaway spot. The surrounding environment will make your guests feel relaxed and well-rested even though they’re there to attend your wedding. A weekend wedding is also a great idea to spend more time with your guests. You can plan activities for everyone during the weekend, so you can hang out with your friends and family and feel their immense love for you before you marry the love of your life.

2. Berkshire is close to a lot of major England cities.

If you’re worried that your guests won’t even consider taking the drive in the first place, don’t be! Berkshire is easily accessible from a lot of major England cities including Bath, Bristol, and Southampton, which are only an hour away. There are many places to stay within the city and Birmingham, Exeter, and Cardiff are also quite near, with only a two-hour drive on the way.

3. Berkshire is classy and sophisticated but also simple and cosy.

Whether you want a classic wedding, a garden wedding, or a rustic wedding, Berkshire will have a venue for you. There are a lot of beautiful venues and spots in Berkshire to hold your wedding in. Choosing between indoor or outdoor won’t be a problem because both have a lot of options available. The only problem you’ll have is choosing where to have your wedding because everywhere you look, you’ll see something wonderful.

4. Berkshire has a lot of amazing restaurants.

Wondering where you’ll have your rehearsal dinner? Well, Berkshire has top restaurants including The Fat Duck by Heston Blumenthal, The Vineyard by Daniel Galmiche, and the Waterside Inn by Michael Roux. If you’re also looking for a place to go to for your bachelor/bachelorette parties, Berkshire has pubs and clubs to take your wedding parties to. The county might be a little bit laid-back but don’t mistake it for boring. Its nightlife is also vibrant and colourful.

5. The weather, the landscape, the countryside!
We’ve already mentioned this, but we just can’t help but bring it up again! Berkshire is truly a beautiful place with its pastures, lanes and woods. The weather isn’t as harsh as it is in other areas with the countryside, so your wedding will most likely happen on a nice day.

Looking for wedding party venues Berkshire from Venue Finder is a great way to start planning your wedding. I mean, wouldn’t you want to get married in a scenic countryside that will look amazing in pictures?

So, take your wedding party to a nice area in Berkshire and enjoy a lovely weekend with the ones you love the most. Don’t forget to try the food and take a lot of pictures as well! Berkshire will make your wedding a lot more special and memorable.
