Unroll Me Spearheads Changes in Email

A full email box has its benefits. Messages from friends and family never cease to be uplifting. Receiving messages about great deals and discounts can be positive, too. An inbox loaded with junk mail and unwanted solicitations, however, may rise to the level of obnoxious annoyance. Getting rid of those unsolicited emails doesn’t have to be cumbersome. Working with an “unsubscription” service could alleviate an inbox of its overcrowding. Unroll.Me is one of those companies.

The service does a bit more than help people unsubscribe from emails. The option exists for people to organize their email better. Working with the features associated with their email provider, free or paid, might not be enough. Finding yourself losing control of your email folder isn’t enjoyable, but this does happen. Clicking subscribe “here and there” adds up. Before you know it, you become a passive manager of your email accounts.

How do people commonly deal with this problem? They start creating new email accounts. They hope a fresh start will work out for them. Maybe it will work for the short term. Eventually, those new email accounts suffer from the same problems. Managing several email accounts creates confusion as well. Before you know it, you can’t keep track of all the accounts. So, why do people put themselves through such a mess? They don’t realize email systems and the ways to manage them have changed.

While the basic concept of email is the same as it always was, innovations consistently took place over the years. The rise of third-party companies capable of lending an assist to frustrated account holders represents some of those changes.

Are there any additional future changes coming to email management? Many are in the works and also at various stages of development. Not surprisingly, advancements in artificial intelligence factor into these developments. AI could take over aspects of inbox management and other duties. Email marketing could also gain a giant boost from artificial intelligence programs. Turning over some or all of an email service’s functions to an AI program was unthinking not too long ago. Now, we are at the dawn of this new age.

Don’t expect human beings to completely remove themselves from the process of email management and marketing. Users and marketers will always want some degree of a hands-on approach to the process. Working with programs such as Unroll.Me can assist in many ways. Streamlining an email account represents one of the ways the service lends an assist.

One promoted feature involves a scan of all emails the user currently subscribes. In addition to locating those emails, the program places all the emails on one consolidated email. This way, the user can read one long scroll as opposed to jumping from email to email. Of course, the user also isn’t locked into searching through new messages and jumping from one sender to the other. Time ends up saved.

One thing detracting from the popularity of emails is the emergence of apps. Apps present a highly streamlined approach to communications. The Uber app, for example, facilitates both transportation and communication requests. Messaging apps come off as more user-friendly than email systems. Potential improvements in future email systems and supporting programs, however, may allow email to recapture lost ground.

Unroll.Me intends to do its part and improve the future of email and email marketing. Granted, no one can predict what the future of email will become. Examining the current enhancements does present insights into where things appear headed.

Email might become a lot easier thanks to upcoming developments. And maybe that spam problem will finally face a long overdue elimination.
