West Coast Better Homes As An Example of Best Practice

The roof is the most important part of any building. It could be cemented, shingled, or tiled, but it has to be looked after properly. In California, various environmental considerations also have to be made. This is what companies like West Coast Better Homes focus on. They are an expert roofing company that covers all of the West Coast, including Burbank, Los Angeles, Malibu, and Santa Monica. Thanks to their roofing services, homes across these communities have been able to have safe, fit for purpose, greener, and generally better roofs in place. Additionally, as their portfolio and videos show, they also cover windows, patios, covers, and more. It is no surprise, therefore, that this company is such an example of best practice.

West Coast Better Homes Shows Others How it Is Done

It will come as no surprise that the company is fully licensed and bonded. All good companies are, and this isn’t what sets West Coast Better Homes (WCBH) apart. Rather, it is the fact that they repair what is necessary. They know that a small repair won’t take them long to complete, nor will it earn them a lot of money. But they also know that it will help their clients save a great deal of money, because it means they won’t have to replace their roof yet.

As a contractor, they also fully understand the dangers associated with completing roofing jobs. If at all possible, they will only come out when the sun is out, avoiding rainy days. They use ropes and safety harnesses for all their employees, who have non-slippery shoes fitted with rubber soles. Furthermore, they will check where all the electric wires are before they start the job. Once on the roof, they identify any shingles that are deteriorating, replacing them before finding any leakages.

Furthermore, they are registered with the NCRA (National Roofing Contractors Association). This has also enabled them to offer routine maintenance contracts to their clients. Furthermore, they meet all the relevant regulations and standards, so that their clients know they get the best quality work. They also always refer their clients to the NCRA website so that they can see for themselves that WCBH only uses approved, high quality materials.

Naturally, safety is always at the heart of everything the company does. All roofs in California are rated A, B, or C by the California Health and Safety Board. A Class C rating is the minimum requirement for any new roof. What this means is that it can withstand a lit fire for at least three minutes. However, WCBH always tries to install a class B roof at least, which lasts for at least six minutes, particularly since there have been so many wildfires as of late. If clients so wish, they can also install class A roofs, which last for at least 30 minutes.

It should be obvious why WCBH is so respected across the state for their fantastic work and why they are the go to company for all things roofs.
